Urgent - Pullet is gasping for air and wheezing

Ok thank you. I will start treatment immediately. She is breathing much better, drinking and eating. She is alert
Yes I think it could definitely help her, if it’s what it seems to be a respiratory problem.

The only reason Baytril is not approved for tearing poultry is because of the effect it has on the HUMAN consuming the egg from the hen treated. It could Be a lifesaver for your chicken.
Thank you I will start treatment right away.

Did she start getting better eating and drinking before you started the baytril ?
No she started breathing better after VetRx. Nobody is able to fill the prescription. Regular pharmacies don’t carry it because it’s for animals and the veterinary offices I contacted will not fill it because they’re not treating the pet yet they do not treat birds. I am at a loss. I spent 2 hours calling various vets and nobody is willing to do it. I have an order in at Chewy but it will not happen until Tuesday or Wednesday.

Check this link for enrofloxacin (Baytril,) which is available without a prescription:
https://www.jedds.com/shop/enro/
Dosage is 0.05 ml per pound of weight twice a day given orally for 5 days. It is $25 for 100 ml and shipping is a little extra. I got some in 2 days from them.
Thank you. I will place the order today. Hopefully by then I’ll have the one from Chewy as well and with the Tylan200 it will help taking care of the problem.
