Hi thank you for asking. I have been giving her Tylan200 and vetrx and she seems to be in good spirits. She’s eating and drinking water so I guess that is a good sign. The redness in her face has gone down. She’s a 12 week old pullet. I think that I am dealing with mycoplasma because it affected a few of my other girls which I treated as soon as I had the Tylan on hand. There is an occasional sneeze from the affected ones but overall they seem to be acting normal. I will post some pics of her later on today. Again thank you for your concern@Aristocat123 how is your girl doing today?
I think she’s doing better after the Tylan200 and vetrx. Redness in the face and comb had gone down and she’s eating and drinking water and seems alert. She’s used to having more space so she might feel a little constrained but she has a friend with her to keep her company. Her friend is from the same 12 week old group and showed some symptoms so I immediately brought her in and treated her. This is a couple of days ago and she wasn’t as bad as her. As I mentioned below I think I might be dealing with Mycoplasma. Thank you so much for your help and concern. We’re not out of the woods yet and I am hopeful that it’s getting better all around. I was very stressed and highly concerned and all I was envisioning was my flock being eradicated. I love them dearly and I have quite few very $$ and special breeds. I appreciate all your help and for following up.How is she doing?
I was able to get some “expired” Tylan200 from our feed store. Being that the meds are still ok for about 2 years after expiration date it worked just fine.Curious where you were able to order Tylan from?!
