Urgent Puppy help!!! ~~~~~~~~UPDATE!!! SHES HAVING THEM!!!~~~~~~~~

I've been raising Dachshunds for several years now.
My opinion, she needs a C section. While I was at work, DH didn't take one of our females to the vet and she died. Needless to say, he now knows to take them to the vet, if nothing else to be on the safe side.
Another female, Missy had one puppy vaginally. She was up running around and not in distress, when I took her to the vet. But the rest had to be delivered by C section because a puppy the size of a woman's thumb was caught. The vet could not reach and turn it.
I would not wait, until Wed. After 4 days, she needs to go to the vet.

Shes not really acting stressed. Shes playing with the daddy dog, and then she goes to sleep.

Shes sleeping, nonesting yet. The vet said it can be 5 days more since sperm will still live for 5 days

Is there any green discharge? any contractions seen? Stage 1 labor you can see mild contractions, the grump will be uncomfortable and will more likely refuse food and water. Stage 2 is hard contractions, pushing and delivery of puppy, stage 3 expulsion of placenta, the grump will go back and forth from 2 to 3, until all pups are delivered. If there is green discharge grump seems very uncomfortable get to vet asap. From your description she doesn't sound like she is really in stage 1 yet. sounds like she is close my last grump was a little off for about 2 days then went in stage 1 where she stayed for about 18 hrs which is fine whelped 7 puppies in 4 hours. I think this is the website www.debbiejensen.com real good whelping site

Um thanks for the link
No green. No contractions. Just being her normal self, not eating though. And sleeping to get energy. Shes dropped the pups cuz now i can feel her spine

Make sure you keep taking her temp at least 2x daily it can get down to around 96 when the progesterone drops totally. Green discharge means placental detachment bad if no pups have been born. But since the pups dropped it should be soon.

It sure does sound like it will be soon. My girl's temp never dropped prior to whelping, so they don't all go by the book. Good luck and keep us posted.

ok, i went outside with a sandwich, i dtopped a lettuce, and she ate it. Isnt it true dogs are preg for upto 73 days?

Update

I think she nested cause the clothes in her nest box are rearranged. I got a thermometer from a friend. Its a oral use only. Will it work??? The thingy you put in is BIG.

She is not eating and very quite
I feel a few movements.

So i tried an oral temp(i know its not accurate), and its 97.0 lol
