URGENT Roo is lethargic, can’t walk

Pumpkin or the seeds does not work as a dewormer. It would be great it is did, but it doesn’t. Having wry neck, I would also add human vitamin E 400 IU daily into his beak. Wry neck is another possible symptom of Mareks. Casportpony has a good thread about feeding tubes and sizes. They are available online, and your vet might sell you the tubes and syringes. Walmart and other pharmacies will sometimes give away needle-less syringes free for giving low dose medicines and water to animals and babies. You can give 1 ml safely with one of those down the right side of the chicken’s throat.

Omg. Ok 2 things.

1. I remembered I put an old tree stump in the run the day before copper got sick. I went to sit on it today and there were mushrooms growing out the side of it!! Is it possible he ate one and it made him sick!?

2. Now I’m of course obsessively checking all my chickens out. Is it normal for chickens eyes to look weird as they’re shifting from their baby blues to their adult color? My Australorp’s eyes look like this, is this ocular Marek’s or just normal changing colors?? She’s about 11-12 weeks old. I’m kinda freaking out now.

I'm sorry, but australops have brown eyes.
Also thank you for your words. I'm glad it wasn't something contagious. I also learned a lot about tratmeant, through that.

Her eyes were never brown though, fwiw. They used to be a dark green-blue color. I don’t have any super good pics of her eyes but this one shows it a little bit.

Looks brown to me...
They're not all gonna die, it's a 50% death rate.
Try making them all as healthy as possible so they can get through this. I don't have any more advice, because I'm not a vet, i even thought that the crop was next to the chickens butt, a fact which most likely killed my girl.

My Copper is still fighting. He starts off not wanting to drink but after I get a little into him he will drink on his own. I watch him carefully since he doesn’t seem to have total control of his head movements and I don’t want him to drown. I haven’t been leaving the water cup in there with him for this reason.

Any suggestions on something I can safely leave in with him that he won’t knock over or drown in? I’m not sure he has the coordination for a nipple waterer to be of much help right now.
