I have a 4 day old duckling that seemed to be lifeless(or might be) when I went to check on them this morning. He was cold and unresponsive due to the other ducklings pushing him away from the heat. Is there a way I can get him warmed up and somehow get him to respond or is there no hope(he lives in the house and when I checked his temp it was 80)? I currently just put him in an incubator a few minutes ago in hopes of bringing him back.

The most and only thing you want to do as of now is getting the bird into a warmer state. That can be achieved by setting her in an incubator, or wrapping her in a towel and directing a blow drier on her, ensuring she doesn't get too hot too fast. Let us know how she does.

An incubator is probably pushing it, it may set it into shock. From my understanding they should not be outside yet unless they are with a broody mom... I would set up an actual brooder with a heat lamp that is either on a back porch or in a garage and put them back outside when they are fully feathered. Maybe I’m wrong and ducks are different but this is my opinion. For now just bring him into your house out of freezing temps and let him warm up naturally and slowly.

I agree, warm her up slowly. As a too-rapid change in body temperature can cause harm to the duckling.

It is a four-day-old duckling, so I don't think an incubator would be pushing-it. Just start off low, and increase temperature, until the desired temp is achieved. Which for a duckling that age would be near 85-ish.

Or a heatlamp. It takes time to heat up plus you can start it farther away and move it closer for more gradual warming. But definitely dont put them back outside.

Update:
Thanks for all the support and suggestions but unfortunately he didn't come back(i think it was too late) I decided to bury him next to his sibling that didn't hatch :(

Sorry for your loss. Consider setting up another heat source so if another one is bullied out, it has a place to go.
