Yup, that's how I live a large portion of my life...!
I'm really into homeopathy, and tend to shy away from conventional medicine for the most part, and I'm finding that homeopathy has had amazing results with my pets, even though I basically go with my gut most of the time.
There's a remedy named Silica, which can be used if you have a foreign object lodged in your body, wether it be a piece of popcorn, stuck between 2 of your teeth, or a deeply imbedded splinter, or a particle in your eye, which you can't get out. Silica stimulates your body to expel that foreign object (I've used it with all of the above problems for my kids and myself, and it worked every time).
Last night I gave some to our little goat, and this morning, I'm happy to say, he is 100% better.
He's not straining to pee, and he headbutted and pushed his mom and sister out of the way at feeding time. Hmmmmm! YOu never can tell with homeopathy, though, because it could be just as easily the antibiotic, that makes him feel so much better.
So far, so good, I'll keep you posted
