I saw this video on YouTube of a family in New Hampshire that has a channel called Lumnah Acres. I was surprised at how fast this plucking machine cleans the feathers off a chicken.

The guy is cleaning Barred Plymouth Rock chickens he raised for meat. I think the White Plymouth Rock is bred more for meat, right? What other chickens, besides the Cornish Cross, are good meat chickens?

oh those machines are great. Cross rocks are good if you butcher them at the right time, I have also heard good things about red rangers, but never personally tried them

Cross rocks? Is that the same as Cornish cross? They are a cross of a White Plymouth Rock hen and a Cornish rooster.

Now Lumnah Acres is comparing the weight, cost, and taste of Cornish Cross and Barred Plymouth Rock.
