Using Paypal to Pay for and print Postage online

If your customer clicked *services and not *goods, then a shipping address won't display.
I just refunded a PP payment like that and asked when they resent it they made sure they clicked on *goods.

Didn't you get charged twice doing it that way?

I had a customer who accidentally double-paid this week. I refunded him the entire amount, as I didn't want to seem mean, but they charged me $2 twice for receiving the payment.

The only problem I've come up against with printing a label from the PayPal transaction is that the flat rate box charge is only for the small box. If I have a large flat rate box, I actually have to use the USPS click-n-ship site. PayPal shipping doesn't give you the option for a large flat rate box, unless I'm just a doofus and didn't figure it out.

Marie, did they pay you with an e-check that hasn't cleared yet? The "print shipping label" option won't show up until the transaction is cleared and complete.

Or you could be sneaky, and turn your flat rate box inside out. Shipping is usually considerably less that way

ETA You can also wrap the box in brown paper, or put labels over the USPS writing.

I fixed it, I just went to my preferences and checked all types of goods/services etc. so that every paypal pmt I receive will give me the option to print a label. Then I went back and it showed up. Hope that helps someone else with this problem.

Hi! I can't speak for anything but my PP acct, but I've been reimbursed by PP for %'s of reimbursed payments and such.
You should call them (PP) on that double charge.
