Yeah i'm all with the rest of you guys. 2007 was my first year ordering eggs and having them shipped to me...and chose USPS since it was cheaper. Went great, then last year probably my 6th or 7th time, I shipped my own eggs for the first time to a friend up in West Virginia...3 days pass...she gets no eggs...four days, five, no eggs. I'm frustrated with the ones here, she's frustrated with everyone in a USPS uniform everywhere...Well guess what, these eggs show up SIX DAYS AFTERWARD!!! and the box had been re-taped, because utoh it looked like something was dropped on it, and five of the two dozen eggs were broke. and needless to say the rest of the eggs were no good. So i figure this was a fluke...NOPE. I got quail eggs shipped to me, and guess what, someone had obviously used a box cutter, slip the tape, and tried to repackage the new tape on top of it, but they forgort to re-pack the inside of the box, so when i got the eggs, supposed to be 50 of them, one layer, about a dozen, was missing, and so was the extra packaging/buffer material, and so half the other eggs were broken. I was extremely upset. so for now on, i am using UPS or Fedex, i have had a bad deal with Fedex before, they lost a snake about 5 years ago, i ordered from a great breeder in Ohio, and it was December, it was supposed to be my christmas present to myself, well, in 20 degree temps, a snake that should have been in transit no more than 24 hours, didn't arrive till well over 70 hours after he was shipped out from breeder's home. Snake was okay, lethargic but i was still upset. I am starting to seriously just think about not even doing the shipping thing anymore. Its amazing how these people still have jobs, when it has to be the same ones doing the same acts more than once. A thief can't help themselves, they'll do it again and again until they get caught, and the USPS in general is supposed to be reliable. HA.
