Salt Lake city - Rose Park

Last year the Tour de Coop had 5 or 6 stops. A couple permanent coops and some "tractors". I would expect a few more coops this year. There are other interesting things on the Tour including beekeeping, water collection, water wise landscaping, and gardening of course.

I currently have 3 cochins, 2 australorps, RIR, OEG, Silkie, all bantams. The OE hen is broody and i am getting her some bantham eggs to sit on. We'll see how it goes.

Hey all Utah chicken ranchers!

I just got an email about registering your region, and it would be nice to be able to find local folks.

And, don't worry, it's not too granuliar. For example anyone in Salt Lake Valley would only be identified as US-Utah-North.

I'm in Brigham city. I have 6 hens. Neighbors are supportive. I've heard of people calling the city and the city tells them no chickens but the city code defines domesticated poultry under pets and limits them to 6.

2 RIR, 1 Polish, 1 Black Orpington, 1 leghorn, 1 americauna

We're almost finished with the coop....took advantage of yesterday's nice weather. Also realized it (the coop) is not big enough for all 6 chickens. I need of get rid of 1 or 2.....anyone interested? I will let 1 barred rock and 1 red sex link go....they are 8 weeks old and in good health....should be laying by July.

Are these two girls still available? Are these the ones listed on KSL.com? I'd be very interested if you still have them! Please let me know.

Hello bragabit. Washington County here.

Hey, do you have any chickens for sale? Someone called me about chickens but neither of us wanted to drive.

If you have some for sale, I could put you in touch. They are looking for 2-3 hens. They actually live in Minersville but could meet you in Beaver.

I'm in South Jordan with some RIRs and an assortment of batams. I have at least a couple of roos that will be needing to find new living quarters soon, please let me know the best way to do this.

No that was probably me who called you. We ended up just getting some chicks from IFA. It seemed like everyone around us had chicks/hens for sale but no one close by. So how big of a flock do you have?

Does your first name start with M and last with C?

I have 42 RIR, 32 Leghorns, 12 Ameraucana and 10 mixed breed we hatched out from the neighbors flock. Also, have 12 Black Australorp roos. Should have the mixed and the Australorps out this week.

Also, have 6 ducks, a peacock, 7 goats and 12 turkey chicks (2 Royal Palm and 10 Bourbon Reds) we picked up last Thursday.
