Mine have actually just started laying in the last three weeks... I have fertile eggs which I've decided to take a chance and incubate. Are they molting? Or something? Not sure what to tell you...
I've decided I want a Japanese bantam, raised from a baby. I might look for UFPA breeders, but won't ask the association yet, not sure if I'll be doing that this year. But I would like some show-quality birds. I love my Brahmas, but was disappointed by their size. By the way, UFPA is the Utah Fancy Poultry Association. I'm a member. :3

MINE ARE NOT LAYING! This business started a few days ago, went from 15-17 a day for a couple of weeks then all of a sudden to 6, 8, and 4 the last three days. I thought it was my broodies making everybody mad. Is it just the arrival of spring and the 'mama mentality'? Would it be the warm up in weather by itself? Or a weird coincidence.....
