Utah!

Oh my goodness! I love this baby!! Check out that face marking! Perfect! You will have to post more pictures of him when he is standing, so we can see how he looks..on both sides. :)
Oh, he's been standing....he's been RUNNING! He's a very active baby boy and is very friendly. He already knows about neck scratches and bounces right over for attention. Sometimes newborn horses take awhile to imprint, but he was instant.

Yes, both parents are paints. We were hoping for a homozygous colt but it looks like he only has one copy of the tobiano gene. He will most likely be on our for sale list but I have all summer to play with him. He's fearless and very friendly. Now that hatching season is drawing to a close I get to enjoy equine babies.

Oh pawtraitart, I want to steal Sam!!! He is gorgeous.

Lisa, gorgeous silkies! I hope you get a showgirl hen. I'm running the dirty dash Saturday morning, and are camping fri night. There will be people at my house, so we could arrange to have someone drop a baby off with my broody.

Here's my single baby. She's full sibling to sheriff, silly.

Jealous! I love horses...he is just a sweet looking little boy!

Sphinx, how stinking fluffy is that! So cute! Holler at me before you leave tomorrow or get out of cell service so we can figure out what to do/which one. Will post pics of #2 in a few hours, I have 6 more pips so anything could hatch at this point! I am camping Saturday night, on a 4 wheeler camping overnighter, so if I come Saturday it will be early early, Prob in Ogden by 8 ish. If Friday night it would be after 6 pmcoming through Ogden to SLC or later coming back home maybe 930-10 ish.

Hey! A chicken named Sheriff? That is awesome!

I have a pair of wheatens I cannot come up with a good name for. When I had four we were calling them Edith, Archie Gloria and Meathead :) Grandmas on here will get that. But now that Meathead and Archie are at Desert's house, I don't want to use Edith and Gloria by themselves.

Pawtraitart- That colt is beautiful! I love his long legs! Makes me miss having horses. Sold my boy a few years back after my parents moved, and I kept him here, just got too expensive with boarding. One day I will have another.

Sphinx, I love that little baby. She is so dang cute. Hopefully she will grow up not as bossy as Sheriff. I feel bad she is by herself, if I was closer I could bring you my curled toe chick, she is so tiny. But her toes are looking much better.

Casa-Yes, I named my barnyard mix from Wendy Sheriff. When I brought her (hopefully her!) home, She was a total boss. It was like she was policing the place, and since Wendy thought she was a Roo, which she could still be a Roo, but she is not really looking much like a roo right now, so I named her Sheriff, thinking she was a He. Now that she has gotten older, she's not so bossy, but she was totally bossy the first week she was here. And every time I went in to clean or change out water etc, she would charge me like, don't you dare come in my turf. Silly babies. So funny how they out grow behaviors, and then develop others.
