Utah!

Wendy you came across Bigfoot. You should have done some wood knocks.

ROFL Silly!

It sounded quite a bit like this, but not quite as drawn out, and definitely none of the signature "squeaks" that you hear from a donkey:
(sorry for the length of the video, it was the only one I head with that weird chuffing sounds included)

I totally agree you heard bigfoot. He was just saying hi

Yeah, I've been busy. Been at the USAAA Autism Conference~

My eggs are developing well! I got two that I'm uncertain about, but in general it's all good~
Again, all of these are fathered by a blue Sizzle. Most were mothered by a red/buff Silkie (she looks buff but the black markings set me off) and the others a splash Silkie.
However, I don't expect more than ONE to hatch this time, if any, so I don't think I'll be selling any of them.
I may not be selling my Light Brahma, but I am selling three male Buff Brahmas... One is a year old, born on April 12th 2012, and the others were born on May 19th this year.

chickck, I'm curious how a moveable run would work- would they go into the run during the day and not have access to their coop? If the coop is unmovable, I'm unsure how you could make a moveable run, but not give them access to their henouse, where they'd need to be to lay eggs in a way they'd be comfortable?

Pancake, hope you had a good time at the conference.

LOL I do like the Bigfoot idea.

Finally, Red, have some Icee pics for you!!

This is how the black one turned out.... not very good pics; she kept moving around and acted like she thought I was going to eat her while I held her. She wouldn't take her eyes off me.

The red one is a roo, with wild hair!!

Of course, he's the handsome guy on the right!!!

Then there's the guinea keets..... have been hatching way before they're supposed to be.... should be 28 days but have been hatching at 21 through 28... just weird. They have to be incubating while standing, waiting for the inc.

And the Orps (with a single Wel that decided to hatch).

Casa, remember the Blehm roos???? How about some pics?? Have to get some pics of the black ones when DH can take the pic while I'm holding one.... they are huge!!!! Here's the silver one (you know, the 'problem' one!!) Poor guy is so much smaller than the blacks... must have had something to do with that couple weeks that he was not in my care.

AND, the blue wheaten, wheaten and blue AM boys I got from you!!

Ooop! He ducked his head....

Going to try for the blacks tomorrow, if I remember, if I have the camera with me, and if I can get the DH to do a pic for me.

Night all!!!

My heat light just burnt out. HELP. The Bantams are only 11 days old. I have them a 100 watt right now, do you think they will be okay over night. I turned my AC up to 78. There is 25 chicks in there, so they should stay warm right?

Do you have an incandescent bulb? Heating pad? With a heating pad you could do something like the ecoglow brooder, which is what I use.
