I have a Buff Orpington, a Barred Plymouth (sp?) Rock, and a Rhode Island Red. I need to figure out how to post pictures of them.

I have Barred Rocks ( 7 weeks old) and Rhode Island Reds. I love both breeds, but I will admitt that the Barred Rocks a quickly becoming my favorites.

so i am wondering if i should stick some hatching eggs under her? the only thing stopping me is i think it may be too hot for her? i kinda want to do it but not if it makes it so she gets too hot. so what do you all think? i can fit a few more hens in the coop so i am good there too. if i wanted to do it then where would i get hatching eggs local? i am not sure what i will do but i want to keep my options open

As for the broody, it is kind of warm, but if you put her in the right place, she'll do fine. If you want fertilized eggs, we have some. I don't plan on ever doing that again, we let a broody hatch two and they were both boys.

i am just not sure. i think it is just not the time of year for her to be doing it. i would love for her to hatch some but i will not put her at risk doing it. hmmm we will have to see i guess. just wondering what breeds do you have?
