Again I'm asking if anyone wants my Cochin Rooster!~? He is a Birchen coloring. Very pretty. He's a total sweetheart and really good with young chicks. Please somebody email me NOW he needs to be gone. He's about 15 weeks old. He's FREE! Oh I'm in Orem.​

I tried the one in Kaysville but noticed she took down her add and didn't return my call. I'm thinking she's all full up. I hope you find a home for your rooster. I literally said a prayer laying in bed yesterday morning at 6am when I heard him trying to crow. I asked that I could please find him a home ASAP Today if possible. I said I wanted him to go to a good home where he could have chickens to care for.

That night about 6pm I got my first call and she wanted exactly what I prayed for, a rooster for her chickens, not for meat.

It may sound corny but prayers work. Some people think it's silly and why not just use him for meat but we've had him since he was 2 weeks old and don't have the heart to kill him to eat.

I can't believe I'm actually falling in love with chickens.

herbmom..oh I'm with you on the praying for my chickens. I am not one to order chicks..I usually hatch, but I couldn't find what I wanted in eggs this time..PR..so, I ordered! They are due to come tomorrow! I have been praying for them since I got the tracking number. Thank goodness the weather here has cooled down a bit. It sure was warm for a few days there. I sure hope they come tomorrow, the expected date! Oh dear, praying for that, and that they have a safe trip.

Now, I know Chiko is trying to sell his cochin...I gave it to him a while back before we knew what it was!

Now I have another one..here at home...he is a cochin also..a calico sizzle. Beautiful. A lot, and I mean a lot of feathering on the legs and feet. I had ordered cochins, but not the sizzle ones. So, sent her pictures of him, first wondering what this little one was, then if it was a boy..it's looking pretty obvious that it's a boy. He has a pink comb at 4 and a half weeks.
Will post a couple of pictures....he's also free!

Hey my Utah peeps! I just got a Facebook message from a friend:

I saw one of your bumper stickers yesterday!... It was a minivan - white (or some other shade of neutral, sort of older), I think, at the Fort Union home depot in Midvale UT. It even had chicken window stickers. I was very impressed.

So, who was it? Fess up and maybe a BYC prize will be in your future!!!

is there anyone in utah county that has a spare peeper? I have a hen that has become agressive and i believe this will solve the issue. I don't want to buy 25 when I only have 6 hens and only one that is causing me grief.
