Utah!

Oh no, Poor Sundance, I hope she's still not in Mexico, and at least home in the hospital. That is such the pits, but the air out here is so horrible right now. I was actually at the hospital last night with my 2 year old. He woke up at 11:30 barking his head off, and couldn't breath, he has the croup, he had it last year and it was nothing like this, this was extremely bad. So we rushed him in to the hospital, they told me that its most likely due to the extremely bad air conditions. But they had to treat him twice with steroids to get his breathing under control. Poor little dude, but he's just fine this morning, running all over the place.

So update on the incubator. So last set I couldn't get the humidity in there the whole time to be above 30% before lock down, this time with 27 eggs in there, and only the middle tube 1/2 way filled with water, its at 38%. All the eggs in there must make a difference. Made me happy this morning to see that the humidity was good, and the temp was good and steady. Hoping these eggs we got from all the nice people are fertile. And we have a good hatch! I have a good feeling about this one. :D

Oh, Sundance, you're supposed to be healthy while on vacation! I hope you feel better.

Silly, I'm sorry your boy got so sick. I hope he's better today? Glad to hear the humidity is so much easier to control this time around. I'm crossing your fingers for this hatch.

She's either in Mexico or Arizona, I don't know which. I hope it's stateside.

I'm off to Fish Lake for a few days. I told my mom and brother that they could come here for advice and help if they have an emergency while I'm gone.

I know some of you guys have hatched my olive eggs. Any of those babies laying yet? I'm trying to figure out if my 3/4 fbcm 1/4 legbar would lay olive or brown. I'm guessing olive, but not sure.

I saw some info on Michelle's home page, that the second generations (OE bred back to FBCM) can lay either, it is a roll of the dice, but if they do lay olive they are really nice and dark :D I am crossing fingers for the dark olive. Yours are already so pretty to start with...the three I have in my bator are all developing so far ! I can't see in most of the FBCM though, they are dark enough my candler is not strong enough. The Polish/FBCM are developing lol I cannot wait to see what creation might pop out of those!
:fl

So glad to hear that your feeling better, and not up here in Utah in this horrible air. Yes, he's just fine, hasn't coughed since. Little turd just wanted his momma to spend $250 going to the hospital and I'm sure another $1000.00 because we sat there for 5 hours. Blah…

Good morning all, just enjoying a little sunshine. NOT! We have about 4 inches of snow this morning, and it's still snowing. But, I can think about the sunshine when I see photos like this one..which I saw on fb. :)

Yup, Yup, its snowing pretty good up here, and actually I'm really happy its snowing. I'm excited for clean air for a few days. We live up on the hill, and it looks so horrible in the valleys, that it makes me feel sick to look at it. Plus we really need some more snow pack up in the mountains. Just a bummer to have to shovel and drive it in.
