Utah!

Cynthia & Madchicken, your babies are so cute!

Cynthia, I can't believe that baby was making crowing noises already!!

Silly, I'm still just devastated over your bad incubation experience. I hope this one is fantastic.

I think my hatch is done. I just candled the last egg, and can't see any movement. I'll give it til morning, just in case, but it appears to be deceased. But, I ended up getting 6/7 to hatch, which is great. A couple of the GCM have spots on their heads, but not all. They're black, but not nearly as deep of a color as my FBCM. Almost a gray black. But still, they're darker than I would've anticipated. Also, all 5 GCM have clean shanks, which is acceptable in American breeding circles. It's convenient because the OE has heavily feathered shanks, so it's easy to tell apart. I kind of want to keep it, but I don't want to have any more chicks right now.

Sorry this aint a chicken but had to share this flower. My amaryllis finally has bloomed. I got it last year and it almost bloomed and then the flowers died for some reason. Its been outside all spring to fall with the other planters. We brought it in around the middle of November.
