Silly, I'm still just devastated over your bad incubation experience. I hope this one is fantastic.
I think my hatch is done. I just candled the last egg, and can't see any movement. I'll give it til morning, just in case, but it appears to be deceased. But, I ended up getting 6/7 to hatch, which is great. A couple of the GCM have spots on their heads, but not all. They're black, but not nearly as deep of a color as my FBCM. Almost a gray black. But still, they're darker than I would've anticipated. Also, all 5 GCM have clean shanks, which is acceptable in American breeding circles. It's convenient because the OE has heavily feathered shanks, so it's easy to tell apart. I kind of want to keep it, but I don't want to have any more chicks right now.
