My blue partridge silkie "Topaz" was a chipmunk as a baby, so that one could be a partridge for sure. I think. LOL That is the only partridge I have ever hatched. It will be so fun to see what they turn out to be!

Well the Silkies are for sure staying here for a while because I'm for sure keeping a pullet or two, same with the Icelandic mixes from Red, I want some blueish colored eggs. But the others was given to me just to fill up the incubator. So if anyone wants a Naked Neck Mix chicks let me know. I have 2 that are Naked and 1 that is not.

Tempting. The Cuckoo/NN mix that has no NN is awfully cute Looks kind of girly to me too. I am glad I live so far away from you right now lol

I have 11 in one brooder, 13 in another, all straight run though and I am keeping all the girls from those. Then 50+ eggs due to hatch. So I better not be creeping/drooling/coveting on your chicks haha It is hard, they really are so cute.

I need some eggs to put under a LF broody. Anyone have a dozen. No bantams. I ordered a brinsea mini advance today. I am going to use it for silkies.

Red...Non of the 3 eggs i got from u made it. 1 started then stopped. I think there is only 1 egg going to hatch, haven't checked it for a week. Due tomorrow thru thursday. It will be a cross between my silkie rooster and a BLRW. Do you have more ?

Karen, I am in love with that NN! So stinkin cute! Yeah, the one that looks like it's got a little attitude going. Looking around like, so, let's see what I can do now that I'm outta there! Ha..
I think the one questioned...splash or chipmunk..I'm thinking chipmunk..will probably grow out a partridge look. If it's an EE, you never know how they will look..is it a silkie EE mix? Really really cute. And yes, that blue one facing the camera..I think from red..is adorable. I am wanting a blue out there now. I have some eggs I'm going to set tonight. Hoping to get some blue's from that. They are a mix of True Ameraucanas, and Coo koo...ha ha..not sure how to spell that...mix. And, there are other hens in there. I would have to look up what the possibilities are.

I have two babies out, one more almost. One is blue, and the other, I think, is black, hard to tell if it is a dark blue or black, will know when it fluffs up I guess. Tiny tots. Silkie cochin mixes, or pure cochin. One has 4 toes, one has 5 toes.

Nope they are 100% pure Silkies, the person I got them from is my friends neighbor and all he has right now are Silkies. They are his wives pets. They are not chickens. Love it. I was thinking it was more of a chipmunk, sad I would love a Splash, but I don't care, which ever one turns out the most girlie is staying here, I love my 2 outside now, whats a few more. I don't even count them as a chicken, they are just a fluff ball outside. LOL.

What color do you think that one will be? Its almost a black/blue color all over with just the hint of chocolate brown. I need to get good photos of them when its super sunny in my front room.

Yes, better lighting would help. I just love all that fluffy going on. Looks like nice body type already. Short little back, nice bump on the tail end. Will be nice. You will have to post more photos tomorrow, in the daylight!
