Utah!

Yes, the baby duck died.  :(   Not long after the electrolytes..just as I thought, either it would help, or just put him out quickly.  He was too close.  At least he didn't get stampled on while going.  He was nice and warm too.
Oops find reed everything before I posted

Yes, Lehi is a little bit closer than Logan.

Yes, we can meet you in Orem. Let me know when you prefer and we can work it out. Thanks!

Sometime this week. Will have to see. Let me know what works for you too. I am waiting to see when someone can come aerate our lawn..may be tomorrow. Not sure.

I'll be home the end of the month. I have a full size Frizzled Americana Rooster that I had decrowed. He is at my friends vet clinic waiting for me to put him with some girls. I also have a blue sizzle rooster that I had decrowed that I will be breeding. Should have some interesting chicks. I am feeling much better

Of the 2 chicks I bought on Friday the EE died Saturday morning. Not sure what caused it. I went back to IFA to get another EE but they were out so I ended up with an Iowa Blue, they look like pretty birds. I am concerned that I bought the chick waterer with the nipple cup thing and it doesn't seem like the chicks are getting it. I did take out the other waterer. They all flock over to it when I get water onto the cup thing, but then it doesn't seem like they are able to get any out on their own. They are all over 8 days old except the two little ones.

Are you talking about the one that paw did? My nipple part was a bit tight, and sometimes they come that way, easy to get it loosened. Then they barely touch it and there is water. Put the other water in until you can loosen it. :)

Is the decrowing working now? Expensive? Sounds like you will have some fun chicks.

Glad you are feeling better. I bet you are excited to get home.

How do you loosen it? The water level is down so they are getting water, I just worry that it's not enough. At least this water isn't getting filled with shavings and all over the brooder box!

my friend has been unable to master the technique. She needs to spend time with the vet that does them to learm. I sent three Roosters to Oklahoma and had them done. I also have a show girl but he is staying with my vet friend

Sundance, glad you're feeling better. Hope everyone else is okay. Haven't had much time to read through here and have been really stressed, but I wanted to share a little funny from tonight. I went out to collect eggs out of the coop because my broody Wyandotte keeps hoarding them under her. She had 21 eggs she was sitting on. I confiscated 6 questionable eggs and one bacteria bomb. Let her keep the rest

I just am beyond caring much about it right now.
