I have the very best most wonderful hubby ever! Who gave me the best most wonderful Easter present ever!

A beautiful brand new coop.....
With these sweet little fuzzy loves to put inside!

2 frizzle cochin bantams and 3 silkies
But here's my question for my fellow silkie lovers. Is this little girl (fingers crossed!) a splash or white? Her head is yellow then she fades into a gray-ish blue at the other end...
Also, hugs to bitzyhorse! I'm still too new here. I forgot to quote you. Here's one more!

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have a bunch of chicks if you want any. I have Ameraucana's/Easter Eggers, Welsummers, Brown Leghorns and Olive Eggers. They are 2 days old. Just let me know.

LOL I told my husband... his reply was "tell them they're not helping" Thank you Silly I'm sure they're absolutely adorable I would worry about putting 2 day olds with my nearly month old chicks though

So with the talk of the Japanese Bantam got me thinking of where my little beast has been. Well you know a few weeks back, she had about 10 or so eggs in the cinder block, well I just founder her under the shipping crate coop with 15 eggs, Yes 15 eggs. And she was on all of them. How she managed that I don't know. So I pulled her out and stuck her in the shipping crate coop with 3 of the eggs in the bottom nest box which no one has ever used. Put food and water in there. If she says in there and is serious. Do you think she would take maybe 2-3 of the these chicks that just hatched if I put them in there at night. I have the leghorns and they are tiny. But they will be 3 days old tomorrow. If you don't think that will work, and she stays sitting through out the week. Sundance, maybe I will buy some frizzled eggs from you. I really want a frizzle.

Awww I am so happy for you! Thats a beautiful coop and some beautiful babies! Where did you find your babies? Your white one looks white to me, but give it a week and it may change a ton. If you see any silver flickering in her wings she'll probably be a splash. What a fun easter for you!

She looks like a white/cream color like one of my chicks. See my pics I just posted Its my white/cream one. I think mine may still turn white, but if not I could possibly see a little bit of buff icing over it. They look the same color to me.

Does anyone need three chicks? ( Yes, I know, I can already hear you beating me. "Need") a friend and her sister won some chicks as prizes at a contest over the weekend and don't want them. I'm going over after work to see what breeds they are. I wouldn't be surprised if they're all cockerels.

Let me see if she is really all that serious now since I moved her. Well I should say tried to move her. My 6 year old let her out of the crate coop, and came in and said that she was locked in. I was like she needs to be locked in there, but now she is actually pacing back and forth from her old next to the nest box I put 5 of her eggs in. She's a nervous wreck. I did block off so she can't get back under there. So that is making her mad too.

I would love to get some Frizzles, specially Ameraucana ones because I'm needing that true blue egg. HeHe! Not sure how many eggs she could hold, she is a tiny little thing and her eggs are even way smaller then the Silkies. But she had them all under her good and covered. Little stink. That chicken drives me mad 1/2 the time. At least she wasn't lost, because I was starting to wonder if she finally did it and flew the coop so to say.
