I had an early arrival of my own....thought these would be another day or so, especially after the night they froze.

Looks like the mama is my black showgirl! Unless its the white SG mom and the partridge roo gave her a black baby....don't know how that works. This one looks to be all black, but I see some silvery hairs on it, very cute. Will see what she looks like after fluffing up. Nice bowtie too! Very nice black skin, and good toes. Lots of fluff on the feet too <3

Anyways. Stupid, Stupid Egg question. I know, but I've actually never really stored eggs, either my neighbor or my family eats the eggs within a week of them being laid. But I'm in charge of bringing the eggs for our family reunion in Colorado, July 5-12th (2 1/2 weeks away). We are going to be renting cabins out for a whole week on a lake. And there will be 20-25 people there. So I get about 10 eggs a day. So I figured I would start this week with keeping them, and trying my hardest not to give them away or eat that main this next 2 weeks.

So with that being said, I'm sure they will be fine if I start collecting them now, they should still be good in the next 2-3 weeks right? And what is the best way to store them? I was thinking of keeping them in my storage room down stairs. But its like room temp, in the high 60s. I can leave them outside in the garage if you think that is best, or even put them in the fridge. But I need to start collecting now. Because I promised to bring out tons, and tons of eggs for eating breakfast, and cooking with etc...
