To tell you the truth, I miss his awesome crowing. But my neighbors don't. He's a handsome bird and much happier on your property than mine. You have a real nice setup RJ!

somehow our cat was able to sneak in and got my mothers canary so my mothers sad as we all are so i am going to get her a new one

but things are well thanks. hey fluffy grandmas are always fun

but yeah it would be fun to see you. i will buy chicks from you sooner or later lol. one of these days i will try to get pictures of my girls i got from you, you should see the silver pencil rock, she is so curvy and fluffy and beautiful. past few months she has rose in the pecking order to near the top. the buff orp is one to pester you until you pet her, she also is very protective of the eggs in the nest box lol. she is very nosy too. but she is so lovable.

in other news i lost a leghorn girl tonight, i am sure its because of old age as she was hatched in fall of 2010 and you know how leghorns dont live as long and burn out faster. everyone is healthy so i am not worried.

Hey, if you are wanting a couple of babies to start again, I have a few that you can have..leghorn, RSL, and a RIR. I got a few to watch, and now I know which ones I want to keep. Let me know if you want to keep a few babies in the house for another week until the weather is good enough for them outside..may need a couple of weeks until the weather is good. Let me know~! They should be laying by July for sure, maybe a couple sooner.
You are soo sweet to get your mom a canary. And no, they don't come real cheap. What a good son.

you are very kind cynthia. i am going to wait tho. yeah canaries are great. i get mine from bloodlines i know well that are good quality since so many of the canaries you find now have poor blood lines so they have more health issues. but yeah we all miss the singing. i try to be good to my mom, i mean she is my mom and does so much for me.

Yes its looking blue, a medium blue...cute little baby More hatching upstairs, I woke up to a racket! 50 percent chance it will be frizzled. Mama is a frizzled blue Showgirl, Daddy is Yoshi, the roo you gave me
