Utah!

So I just got home after 12 hours of cookie booths, but it was more like 14 hours for me, I had to load and haul all the cookies. But I just have to brad, we sold 2137 boxes of cookies yesterday and today. I'm just blown away.... We only have 714 more boxes to go, but I will most likely have to go by some more to even out what we have, but OMG, I still can't believe it...

Aww she's turned out very nice. I would agree with you, im thinking girl now. That's a very round crest and no streamers that I can see. Still has amazing feet to. She's definitely a pretty one! Thanks for the pics.  :)
she follows me wherever I go lol. I don't really see much streamer like feathers, she's just a big poof ball. I will definitely be getting more from you when you have extras:)

Ho-lee smokes. That's a lot of cookies! I got a box of Samoas for DH for yesterday (it was our anniversary) and he took the box to bed with him. Lol!

Red, that is so funny!

Silly, chicks are one of my weaknesses. Cookies are the other. -.- I shouldn't be a member of this forum I think.

Oh for sure. I am keeping alot of them for now only because the hens arent laying yet, but once they are I will be setting every egg and getting tons of chicks to fill all those orders on the waiting list. If I get all of them to hatch next week I will probably sell a couple of those to. I'll watch the ones I keep and end up selling several of those as young juvies like the one you got from me. I just have a hard time selling the few I get when the hens quit laying and since im still trying to master the incubation thing, im still ending up helping over half of them, so I kinda bond with them. But I promise I will have more available soon :)

I am in no hurry :) I've got plenty of chickens to keep me company haha. I have a few I need to get rid of. But I'm waiting until they get older to see which ones are going to stay. It's hard not to keep them all lol. If I had the room I would keep them all;) one of my broody barred rock/maran mix is sitting on eggs so I will have some babies here soon:) I would have a really hard time getting rid of chickens if I had what you do haha.

my beautiful cochin roo. He is still really young.

Hey folks, I have a hen who was limping today, I've not had any chickens with bumblefoot before, but looked it up, I couldn't see anything that made me think it would be that... I'm hoping she just sprained it hopping down. I also could not see any visible injuries to that leg, or thigh.

Is there anything I should be doing/looking for other than confining her so she can rest?

(also, it does not seem like its 'paralyzed' as she can open and close her foot when she brings it up and sets it down. She just doesn't put her full weight on it)
