Taking a tiller through the run is a genious idea! I have been using a shovel...

I know how you feel. My stupid incubator spiked the other day and I found it at 103! Probably like that all day. I didnt know what to expect. I just lowered it and hoped for the best. Waited a day to check to see if they were okay and found that about half had diedJust candled my eggs for the HAL. 10 quitters, 5 clears, and 4 that could either still be alive or just barely died last night. I hate this game!
Birdman, sorry you lost your last Leghorn but I know she had a good life with you. Thanks for being so good to your girls.
*SO* cool! I would leave it under the mama. Bringing it inside probably wouldn't up the odds of them surviving. Who knows, maybe they'll make it.My broody girl was off the nest for a minute, and since its day 9, I decided to take a peek. All of her eggs looked great! All, fertile, no quitters, just happy little eggs. But, the last one I candled looked a little bit funny...so I looked again. Two...2 happy little swimmers. What should I do? I've heard that these don't normally make it. Should I just leave it and see what happens? Bring it in and put it in my bator? Or chuck it now?Code:![]()
wow that is impressive he could do that! not something a lot of people can do that is for sureAbko, that is very cool! I would leave it with the momma. If she got it this far, I'd say she has the best chance of hatching it, if it does.
Okay, can I just say that it blows my mind what some people can do with machines? DH took the handles off a tiller and hooked it to the back of one of our yard tractors to do the garden. What's more, he rigged it so that when the bucket on the front of the tractor goes up, the tiller on the back lifts, too. How do people do that stuff?!?
Leave them under mom but you may have to help them pip. What a priviledgeMy broody girl was off the nest for a minute, and since its day 9, I decided to take a peek. All of her eggs looked great!
