Utah!

*SO* cool! I would leave it under the mama. Bringing it inside probably wouldn't up the odds of them surviving. Who knows, maybe they'll make it. :) Good luck!
Abko, that is very cool! I would leave it with the momma. If she got it this far, I'd say she has the best chance of hatching it, if it does.

Okay, can I just say that it blows my mind what some people can do with machines? DH took the handles off a tiller and hooked it to the back of one of our yard tractors to do the garden. What's more, he rigged it so that when the bucket on the front of the tractor goes up, the tiller on the back lifts, too. How do people do that stuff?!?

Thank you! That's what I was planning to do. It will be fun to see what happens! I can't wait for hatch day! I'm so excited to see hoe Goldie is as a momma. She is such a sweet hen. A definite favorite!

Red- that's awesome that your hubby figured that out! So smart!!!

Mesa was pretty exciting today, We heard all the sirens and the park manager locked the security gate and sat inside the guard shack with a shotgun. the shooting was quite a ways away from us but we could hear the sirens and see the helicoptors in the distance. Never had so much goings on. zIt was enough to give all the old people in Mesa heart attacks.

So its going onto day 6 of the 43 eggs I set, and I'm thinking I might candle them tonight, I'm dying to chech. I almost don't want to look, because I don't want to know how many I will have to take on a road trip. LOL But I'm hoping for at least 8 of the Ameraucanas, and 8 of the BLRW to be fertile. I'm sure my Silkie eggs I got from Gary are good, they always are. And I guess I will see how that guys Houdans and Hamburg eggs look. Kind of hoping they are fertile. Would be kind of cool to have a Hamburg.

My broody girl was off the nest for a minute, and since its day 9, I decided to take a peek. All of her eggs looked great! All, fertile, no quitters, just happy little eggs. But, the last one I candled looked a little bit funny...so I looked again. Two...2 happy little swimmers. What should I do? I've heard that these don't normally make it. Should I just leave it and see what happens? Bring it in and put it in my bator? Or chuck it now?

Did you actually see two definitive black eyes moving around? The lighter area looks like it could be a body. The really dark circles would be the eyes. If it's two of those your seeing then i'd say you definitely got twinners. Ive heard of them making it. I'd leave it with the momma and if it doesent pip on its due date i'd help. Like human twins they prob wont be able to stay in there full term, so if they didnt try by day 20-21 I would give it a chance and help. Thats just me. So cool!

Definitely two. Two little dark eye spots. :). But, just like my kids, when I tried to get a good pic they wouldn't cooperate. I'm going to leave them with Goldie and see what happens. :)

Hey everybody!
It has been a long time since I last posted on here... like 2 years!
I was wondering if anyone had some hens that they would be willing to sell? Our hens have gotten old and we need fresh Eggs again. I'm looking for hens that are between 3months and a year old. Please pm me if you have any leads. Thanks a ton in advance, byc has always been the best "go to" for anything that clucks or squawks in my experience!

I had a red sexlink that is ready to lay any day now. And, a pullet that will start in June, or there about.

Red, Sexlink..and the pullet is black and white, doesn't look like wyondotte markings, but she is going to be very pretty.

I'm in Spanish Fork though.
