I just found a home for my Houdan Roo![]()
He is such a turd. I hope he settles down with maturity.
Hi everyone! Been a while. Hope you're all well!
We have a new broody tonight. So funny! I went out to get eggs, and she was on the nest at 7, but didn't growl at me or fluff up. I think I pulled her out of hypnosis. ^.^ I peeked back at her, and she growled then. I was talking to my husband about her, and he seems to think we SHOULDN'T put eggs under her. Sill man. Anyone ever crossed a leghorn and an Australorp...?![]()
Red, what was your final count? The pictures are so darn cute!! I was going to ask you about comb types with icies -- one of ours has a straight comb, one looks rose comb. They were the first out. Very robust!
Hope everyone else is doing well! All the fluffy pictures make me feel so nice inside. Seriously guys, this is like a drug. Ha ha ha The life of a chicken addict: staring at their own chickens, or joining a forum where they can stare at pictures of others' chickens. -.- We're sort of creepy, guys.
