And my mystery bird who I suspect is a Cream Legbar/BCM. She's so cute and unique...

Abkoldewyn, Yes, Silver is a silver laced Wyandotte, so it's interesting that her baby was a yellow chipmunk. I wonder if the yellow is a sex-link trait between her and my red naked-neck...

Below are Buffy (BO), Killer (barred rock), and Lucy (sex link). Those three were too busy hunting bugs to turn and smile for the camera... Or they just think they have cute fluffy butts.

All four were CAL Ranch 5-6 week old left-overs last spring.

Our new BO chick we named Buffy as well. It is funny because Momma hen's name is Chickula. It worked out somehow.

Red, thanks for the info! Those little babies are too cute.

Le Casa, I knew that. ha ha ha I wasn't thinking of the austrawhite, because my leghorn is a brown leghorn. She is just an excellent forager, and lays HUGE eggs. She's probably my favorite, after my mother hens. Would you still be interested in that crossing? I could probably hatch you one or two. Let me know.

He is so cute! Where did you get the Orloffs?

The little mix is adorable too, love the headdress :D

Brian you should go to chickenstock then! I don't think very many UT peeps are going. Grey Bird Farms said she might...then Upick and myself...that is all I know of. IT is at the warehouse at CAL Ranch this year and it is expected to be a pretty big affair they have been advertising. I have to make a quick trip, we have a family party that night so I can only go the first couple hours.
