Utah!

Sidewing, congrats on the gorgeous new babies!! Question for you, too: You said you had 25 Cornish X, right? (Or was that someone else....?) Did you get them recently as chicks? We're looking for anywhere that has the X chicks available to replace our current batch.
I have 25 AND my buddies both have 25. We are raising 75 all together right now. Luckily we have an automatic plucker! (it's for rent if you need it).

We got them from purelypoultry.com and I thought the price was reasonable. It looks like they still have some available. We harvested our last batch at 9.5 weeks. I think we would like to try for 10-12 weeks this time.

Sweet! Thank you much. DH and I may just be putting in an order, ourselves.....

Here are some pics from the Davis County Fair. It was hot so the birds were in bad form understandably.

Said "Ameraucana" for sale. Did not have a price.

Silkie

Buff orpington correct? This was much nicer than the other BOs. In fact I don't think many birds had more than one entry besides the BO.

Kids loved this one. Anyone know what it is? Serama?

Barred Rock. My kids want a couple of these.

The only Silver Laced Wyandotte in the place.

Speckled sussex? I really like these.

A young gal had an amazing looking Turken there and I forgot to get a pic of it.

Does anyone know how the poultry show is at the Utah State Fair and if they have birds for sale?

I'm guessing that the banty is a d'Anvers or d'Uccle. That BO does look very nice - I wonder if she's an English Orp? Pretty girl :) And the last looks like a SS - I believe Ace is breeding them? Pretty, pretty birds.

d'Uccle rings a bell now that you mention it.

red, I never know what I will be hatching the first part of the yr. :D I love doing the NYD Hatch A Long. If my Lavender Orpington is being..the .. boy by then, I may just let him breed what I have out there and see what I get instead of getting shipped eggs.

Anyone interested in a 2 mo old barnevelder roo?

I also have a barnyard mix roo (dad was a salmon favorelle, not sure what the mom was) has fluffy feet, he's about 3 months old. Not crowing yet, starting to look pretty.

free to anyone on here :) not zoned for roosters

bitsy, that fav. roo mix is handsome. You should see the girl version in my back yard. From Brian. His big ol noisy beautiful Favorelle made some cute babies. And handsome. This girl out here has a cute muff going on too. Different than an EE or Am.

How are you feeling?
