I remember when that happened to me. :)

Red, you were asking if I had any older chicks to go..I do have this dark blue that I am going to sell. She's been hanging out with the older Exchequer. I'm not quite sure of her age right now. Would have to look it up, but you can see she is probably close to 7 or 8 weeks old.
$10 for her. She has some pretty good cheeks on her too.

She was hatched the fist part of April.

Nice puffs. :)
Going to put her up on ksl soon if no one is interested. She is pure, she is heritage.

Oh well, why not, one more pic. How many fish do you see? lol.
I cleaned out my other fresh water fish, that need warm water, gave them to a friend, and decided to go with some fancy gold fish. Something to do while I stayed home and watched out for baby chicks to be hatched. My grand kids haven't seen them yet, I think they are cute. Haven't had a gold fish in years!

Holy Cow Cynthia!!!
Awesome pics!!! I'm so excited!!

Love the pic of the fish tank, we took ours down when the boys started getting rambunctious, my DH said he shot a BB into one when he was a kid, so it'll probably stay down for a few years, lol!!

Cold weather up here again... sheesh!! I still haven't finished planting my corn with all the crummy weather we've had... darn it!!

Slvrphoenix- You just gave me a great idea! I think that tandem would do great attached to the back of my DH's bike but why are there pedals?

Really though what a neat thing for her to do with her daddy! Fun pictures thanks for sharing.

Cynthia your little chicks are so cute. What color are the Silkies that are your favorite? Buff? Did you not have show girls in this batch of eggs? I love the Silkies.
I'm dying over the last ones you posted with the spots on them. The Ameraucana Leghorn mixes. I'm going to really have to think about those. I wonder how big they will get? My white Ameraucana lays a blue green egg. It is pretty but I would like it to be bluer. Lisa is rubbing off on me.

So I thought I would show you what my white Silkie look like after eating watermelon.

She is a mess! They both are but it has been hot here today. So the watermelon was a good thing for them.

Daloorashens so sorry about your weather! I remember that all to well trying to get my garden in with Idaho weather. It isn't easy but that beautiful Idaho summer weather will come. I do miss the Idaho summers.
