Hattie, I forgot to mention: I totally understand how unexpected guests can throw a monkey wrench into things. We were so busy trying to get packed up and out of there yesterday morning because I was a bit worried about Thing 2 that I don't know how much time we really would've had. We'll meet up some day. Congrats on the pip!!

So the ee chick thinks the world has come to an end, I put him in with my polish teenagers and sizzle teens, They won;t put up with his crap so he ran in the coop and hid. pretty funny my BCMs are very flighty but I think they will settle down./ They are beautiful. Dex is the best for injuries it is injectable and works very fast as the dear chicken today demonstrated, I loved the pretty showgirl that Lisa has, What a doll It was such a fun day getting to meet lisa and Wendy Meeting their chickens was fun as well. My DH is so cute, he had a good time to. He thinks all my new chicken and geese friends are great

Argh! I had unexpected guests show up this weekend. Changed my whole weekend around! Sphinx so sad I didn't get to Zion's to see you. I feel so bad about your little Polish. I'm really hoping he pulls through. If he pulled through the night and isn't worse that's good. Keep us updated. Have you tried giving him his favorite treat or hard boiled eggs chopped up? I wish he would let you give him something to drink. Poor little guy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will come out of this.
Lisa I didn't know that about Polish and Marek's. Yikes! I'm a Polish lover and don't like hearing that.
Well my eggs should be hatching tomorrow! Getting pretty excited. My broodies have hung in there day after day in this heat. So i'm excited to see what the results of their hard work will be.

I'm hearing about all of these eggs everyone is getting and I'm only getting one a day from my Polish girl. Can't wait for my others to stop sitting and start laying again. I had to buy eggs at the store last night.

Wow, cute turkey baby, a pip, dorks making chicken fingers over the head, I have missed out today! Until now! You guys, those are some great pictures of the three of you. We really do need to make a time and place for meeting up ~ when it's cooler out there!

Wendy, so glad to hear about your polish doing so well! Tomorrow should be better..hoping!

Lisa, tell your son you know someone that has a few polish going into lock down next week. I may have what he's been looking for.

One other thing, Hubby was going to build me a newhigger chicken coop. We have the plans and went to Lowes to buy some lumber. They are having a great sale on shed kits. They have a 10x10 barn style coop for $800.00 and an 8x10 regular shed for $700.00 They are kits and you need to buy paint and roofing still a great deal I think we are going to go that route. This means I'll have a coop for sale in the near future if anyone is interested. Looking fprward to the BYC bbq we need to work out when and where so people can plan
