Peterson Feed had turkey poults when I was there a couple weeks ago. I'm going there this morning on my way down to work in West Jordan. If you want me to pick you up one and meet me, let me know ASAP (like within 45 minutes).



Thing 2 would not stay in the brooder box. I finally gave up and took him out to the coop and put him in the time out corner, along with his girlfriend. I went out this morning, and he seems great. In careful observation, I think he's not 100%, but at least 80%. I completely give credit to you, Sundance. I don't think I'll be able to give him his second injection until at least 1 or 2, because I'm going to be working in West Jordan this AM, but he'll get it eventually. Trying not to be nervous about that.

That is wonderful Sphinx! Was it Dexamethazone? I had no idea you could give that to chickens... Glad to hear he is pulling through, sounds like you are over the hump for sure.

Red if I had a turkey I would sell it to you haha! Any of us could have predators take our birds, it is just an inherent risk that we all understand. You just have really irresponsible neighbors, that need to keep their dogs in check. Not your fault.

I got another new egg, no idea who did it. Blue, but with more of a green tint, one of those eggs that you could say is blue or green, either one. I think it was the black and white EE Fatface, but will need to watch closer tomorrow.
