I have been concerned about my husbands button quail being out in the cold. They are so small and won't go in the top part of the little coop. I told Ed that we needed to get them a bird cage and bring them inside. We went looking for bird cages but I was concerned that the kittens would stick paws in to get them. We ended up getting a reptile habitat that has a screen on top and 2 doors in the front that open, A log to hide under, a couple of fake plants for now and Voila a 150.00 enclosure for three quail that cost 10.00 I figured if it didn't work I can put chicks in it. The quail are very happy, I expect them to start laying soon and we can hatch more babies. I love the calls they make so it will be a treat to have them in the house
