Cynthia, been surfing BYC for SG eggs. Do you remember who you got the eggs from that Maynard hatched from? They hatched last May or early June....that was a perfectly feathered bird, I wish I could find someone that has them. I might have to try again

Man, you have a better memory than I do as to where the eggs came from. :) Probably because you got the chicks from me. I have kept a lot of mail from the sales, I'll go look.

I started with the CAL Ranch Farm Innovator - the results were dismal. The foam is not dense and the lid fit poor so I couldn't keep the temp steady. I ordered the Hovabator Genesis online with the digital temp control and LOVE it. It's easy to use, returns to temp quickly, easy to regulate humidity.

Now I incubate completely in the Hov and move the hatching batch to the FI at 'lockdown' to make their mess in there. Then I can have batches at different stages going at the same time.

The Hov comes with a liner. You can order one for the FI and Little Giant online (Nasco Modesto is one source). It makes clean up MUCH easier. The one for LG fits the FI. Without it the styrofoam gets stained.

Well remember when Lord and Lady Scott check in people then to give them a lot of latitued. We are considered some of the eccentric british nobiliy.LOL Oh yes I forgot the part where I tripped in the lobby in my sequin boots and dropped my bottle of red wine on the tile floor, Of course the red wine bottle broke and they were horrified that Lady scott had tripped and almost hurt herself. I wasn't worried about me but was very unhappy that my wine bottle broke. A little later another bottle was delivered to our room courtesy of the hotel management. Room service is coming in a bit with breakfast. Only two more days until I get my new seramas. BTW my house sitter tells me my seramas are hatching at home
 
Hey. I just got back from visiting with Sasha! And I brought home a friend. (Hedwig)

We went to IFA and got feed, if Mike hadn't of been with me I would have brought home the cutest little Brown easter egger.
