i have one feeder with grit and one with oyster shell so that way if they need something they do not have to go looking for it. also sand is too small to be used as grit so that will not work. grit is chips of granite or other rocks that hard. :)

Cyndiloo-thanks for that info! I was wondering what it meant. I was thinking Marans, Leghorn, as if they were to go in my shipment because those are the two I asked for....but it did not quite make sense. They were packed well, BUT they were on the mailtruck until 2:30 and felt ice cold. I hope they are not damaged :/ Have not candled yet, waiting til tonight. Crossies for the air cells to be ok!
