Hi All! Joybells and I are looking for a ride for our ducks to get from here to there, or close to it. Anybody going that way? I'd drive them to Brigham or Ogden/Layton area, no problem. Joybells, where are you at again? She could drive as far up as Taylorsville.

Are we talking rocks here..or the oyster shell?  I spread the rocks, and put the oyster shell in a bowl.  I don't want to wast the either!  They really do go after that oyster shell if they need it.  Interesting. 

i have one feeder with grit and one with oyster shell so that way if they need something they do not have to go looking for it. also sand is too small to be used as grit so that will not work. grit is chips of granite or other rocks that hard.

I went to IFA and got two chicks. My egg is lock down. Yipee! Im liking this hatching thing. Next is some ducks for my aunt. And then its Seramas!

Cyndiloo-thanks for that info! I was wondering what it meant. I was thinking Marans, Leghorn, as if they were to go in my shipment because those are the two I asked for....but it did not quite make sense. They were packed well, BUT they were on the mailtruck until 2:30 and felt ice cold. I hope they are not damaged :/ Have not candled yet, waiting til tonight. Crossies for the air cells to be ok!

They ARE nice ones, the darker the eggs the harder to hatch tho :/ So hopefully I will have some Irish luck with these,
