You beat me to it, Sundance! XD Yep, Ruby is near my Brahmas now! She's nervous as expected, but still a sweetheart. She's so delicate though, had to close her off... Tested to see how things might be between her and the others, very carefully. Zaphod got over it quickly (was especially worried about him, gentle as he is with people). Lilifey pretty much ignored her. Not sure about Mozart. I saw Sahara peck her a little playfully like she does me, not aggressively. Still watched these three carefully in observation. Kalahari on the other hand was very assertive, so for the sake of all of them, inside the coop itself Ruby has half of it all to herself. Don't worry, things didn't get out of hand, I intervened, and things settled down for Ruby quickly. Not so for my Brahmas. They aren't happy with the change in routine and the lack of attention they're getting. Well, mostly Zaphod and Kalahari. They loudly let me know too. Chickens are like any animal though, they need time to adjust. At least Ruby is doing better than Kalahari and Zaphod, right? Really though, Ruby is fine, I will take good care of her if it kills me!
I had a cuddle session with my Brahmas though. Inside their house. 3 chickens trying to sleep on crouded girl in small space. Fluffy chickens just don't get it. XD. I am, of course, used to friendly birds, so will be happy to add Ruby in there! She's already cuddled a little despite her nervousness. Also cuddled with my Leghorn this morning.
Speaking of which... Yeah, I know that Leghorns are flighty. Wasn't sure what was causing her behavior. Bianca, as I've renamed her, doesn't run much anymore. My Welsummer does though.
My Brahma Mozart appears to have gone broody for a few seconds... XP
Also, a fellow FFA member wants to buy chicks from me. He wants this roo to be the father. It belongs to Wheeler Farm though, so I will have to get permission. I love him though! He's so pretty. And friendly too. Like my Zaphod. Maybe even nicer! Guessing just an Easter Egger drop off, but oh well lol. Beard? Awesomeness? Nice? GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME!

I might try to go to Ogden one night next week or something if i can get off work early. There is not much here in town for evening gowns.
