Oh my gosh. Candled my eggs. Looks like I have 10/13 chicks developing! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but... I feel happy for my first time. :3 Eager to see baby Brahmas! ^^ Gonna double check...

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.![]()
I was talking to a co-worker a little while ago who was going on about her neighbors chickens. She thought they were great, but so noisy! "They must have about 6 or 8 of them over there," she tells me, looking amazed. "Uh. Huh." says I, trying to look impressed. "Don't you have chickens, too?" says she. "Yeah. I keep some chickens." "How many do you have?" asks she. "About 60 or 70. Maybe it's up to 80. Hard to count them." Dead silence ensues. She blinks a few times. "Aren't they...well...kind of noisy?" "Oh, no," I tell her. "I only get the really quiet kind. Hardly a cluck out of them." "Oh! That's great!" she says. "I should tell my neighbors about that kind! What are they called?" "Stealth Chickens," I tell her. Now, rest assured, I will enlighten her later in the night so she doesn't actually go running off to her neighbor to encourage her to get Stealth Chickens. It was just to fun and I'm not really known for my niceness...
This is what I want! Love all the colors!
