Utah!

Ok here we have silkie baby #2! A little lighter than the other, I thought white at first but it might be more buff colored or splash....

This one is about the same color as #1. It is a grab bag today, wonder what will come next!?

Oh, found out that the SG that my friend has, is now sitting on her own eggs. I said I would buy any white ones that she has hatch, if any. Sound good? lol..oh, and if they had a bowtie. I hope she gets some whites.

Ok here goes nothing... I have a Light Brahma roo (3 months old) and a Wheaten Maran Roo (1 month old) up for grabs, I was hoping the Maran was a pullet but no luck.

La Casa, I am absolutely in love with that little Naked Neck I bought from you at ChickenStock and besides the Orp babies I got from Cathy she is the prettiest one of the bunch, I fret over her neck though being in with the bigger girls. I had to move her and the Orp baby I got from Cathy into the growout pen when their brooder box fell apart ( I didn't have a replacement brooder box), she and the other babies are loving their new surroundings though. The whole group even sleep all together in the coop in one of the corners. It was so cute last night when I went out to get them all in the coop they were sleeping in a corner of the GOP (grow out pen) and when I started gathering them up they didn't even peep, until I picked up the NN she let out a little peep and the frizzle chick pecked me on the finger telling me to put her back in the group, that frizzle pullet is so protective of the NN it is funny

Aww cute Mo5C! Glad she is being a good girl for you. i really love the NN personalities, so fun :)

Ok Here is baby #3, a showgirl....There are 5 more working their way out, do not know if they are Silkie or SG, but 2 are black, and 3 are this same buffish color. 2 white ones died upside down, 1 buff one just did not pip for some reason and did not make it so I lost 3 during lockdown total , and ***should*** have 8. Hoping more are SG....

Been busy with runs, and cleaned out one side of the new 'mancamp' trailer for the juveniles

. It was nice getting them out of the smaller transition, juvenile coop. Now I can move the larger chicks from the big brooders into the transitional coop. Whew!

It's all a process!! Now the smaller chicks can go into the big brooders and the small heat lamp cages are waiting for the new arrivals...YEAH!!

Desert, I'm disappointed that only four eggs made it into lockdown. What a bummer. I hope you get four gorgeous pullets out of it.

Lisa, Sorry for the three losses. Those babies are sure adorable though. I just love the look of chick #2. I bet #1 is special, with the partridge type coloring. And #3 is going to be stunning. #2 is my favorite of yours so far though.

Today my dh picked up a chick from Sundance that I was going to foster. I'd planned to have it be with my 2 week old legbars. However, I wasn't home when he got here. He thought it was a buddy for my new chick, and stuck her with the broody. Well, my broody is just pleased as punch there's TWO babies under her now, and the chick really is more of a size of my new hatchling, so I'm going to keep it that way.

Glad that baby worked out so well!
Looks like I have a black SG, a black Silkie, three more silkies about the color of #2, and another SG like #3. Fun! I will get pics up later when they dry out. Kind of interesting the black ones look like little bats they are so dark with the black skin. Now I have to figure out if I should keep a couple lol they are pretty cute!

Brandi from Payson wants to post for sale 4 blue silkies, a brown leghorn, rose comb brn leghorn, 1 bantam NN, and 1 blue/buff silkie. $2-$5 and she can text pics if anyone wants to look let me know and I will pm you her # to text.
