Desert, I am so sad and disappointed in your peafowl hatch. I'm so sorry! You have got a HUGE hatch going on. I can't wait to hear how it goes.
Silly, that is a gorgeous silkie. How can you tell it's a roo already? You are so nice to foster 8 babies. I've been trying to teach my legbars to go in at night. The girls seem to be getting the hang of it better than the boys.
Cynthia, why are you getting rid of some of your OE? I thought you were still looking for the perfect olive egg?
Sara, I have a black feathered leg cockerel I could give to your brother. I think another chick is a cockerel, but too soon to tell. I think I'm going to try and sell my legbar roosters. They're looking like they'll be extremely great examples of the breed.
Red, loved the pictures. Did you end up giving eggs to Desert to hatch? How did that go? I'm back in town for the forseeable future, so if/when you want me to try my hand at hatching Icelandics, I'm game.
Lisa, I may have gotten cows last year, but I don't like it. They've been so much trouble. So much easier to just buy a side of beef from a local farmer!!!
Here's my legbars. They're getting so grown up. I think they are absolutely gorgeous.
