I am having quite the luck this year! I went to a podiatrist today thinking that I had a neuroma that would be resolved with a cortisone shot. Turns out I have a stress fracture in both feet. The left one is the bad one. So I have a soft foot cast type thing I have to wear now.

I have one very lonely bresse chick right now. Poor thing.

That's no fun! I have Planter Fasciitis. That's no fun either. It comes and goes. Soft padding inserts for my shoes. I can relater to foot pain! Get better quick!

Lil if you want I have a few bantam chicks that are almost a week old, I can bring you up a few to keep it company if you want. Most likely Cochin or Brahma's.

I woke up to a surprise this morning. Another chick under my broody! That makes five chicks, and I confiscated two of the remaining eggs that I suspected were sludge bombs. Good thing I did, too, because one burst on its way into the garbage can. Eh..............thank goodness for bleach

One of the chicks under my broody seems to be struggling a bit. I'm hoping it will pull through in a day or two here, since it's only a day old. And I so want to try giving my broody a warm sponge bath, or a partial one, at least. She is stinky!

Birdman, I'm glad your Wellie is okay. I've had a couple of my girls pull a stunt by hopping the fence, only to get their leg caught in the hinge area. Fortunately, both times have happened when I was right there and could pull them out.

And, I got my tooth fixed today

My whole jaw has been hurting so bad that it's been hard to eat or relax. Turns out that part of the temporary crown was sitting high under the gums, so the gums were getting caught between my teeth. Ow.

That would be a good thing. I hold this little one a lot because it is sooooo lonely. Just peeps continuously. I suppose if you want another...it could go that way too. I don't know if bresse feather sex, but its wings are picture perfect for a girl.

Ouch! This has not been a fun experience for sure. Always much worse at night. These shoes are not comfortable either I want my flip flops back I feel like a bit of a baby complaining though. Not sure how better to put that, maybe as the mom I'm not supposed to hurt?

Either way, I can meet you with a chick or 2 if you want, they are all straight run of course, but I did get them all vaccinated, and they all seem happy and healthy. Or I don't mind bringing it here. I have plenty of chicks to keep it company right now. Even when Brian comes to get his 8-10 at the end of the week. I don't even know what a Bresse is. I will have to go look it up. Just let me know, I'm in Utah County, but can meet you if its before 5pm tomorrow somewhere.

Hey, if anyone has the time, go out and check out the meteors. They were going last night, and again tonight. Saw a huge one last night. I've never seen one this big. Saw the orange ball, and blue behind it, and it had a very long tail, and very wide. It was so cool. Just went to let the dogs out, and saw another one, not real close like last nights, but a nice long streak! Going to watch some more.

Lil--so sorry to hear about your foot, but glad they found out and can get it fixed up. How do you think that happened to both your feet?
