I love the video. Are all Serama roosters that small and quiet? If so i think i might have to get some eggs from Sundance this spring.
Sammy is an A size Rooster. the B and C size are larger so they are noisier. I adore him. How is the baby doing?

i would love to see pics as they growI got these from Yinepu... in Texas...the first ones should hatch the end of January 1st of February... 55-58 days incubation... 95.5 degrees F
Hopefully they all hatch and we'll have a little herd this summer!! did you know that an emu can run 30 miles an hour? Just another adventure.. LOL I will definitely post pictures when they hatch... maybe even bring one to Chickenstock in May.. Everyone should just put May 3rd on their calendar right now so there are now excuses for not attending this year... (you know who you are!! LOL)
i have a lot of friends in austrailia and one of their traditional toys (tho not as much now days) is rocking wood emu, just like you see wood rocking horses here. they are great at killing snakes i am told and that can be very handy when you live in a land with so many deadly snakes and a government that does not let you kill them for any reason
I second birdman - I'd love to see pictures of the emus as they grow, if at all possible.
Lisa, I haven't tired that, sorry.
Sundance, I love Sammy's little attitude and crow. I find your Seramas entirely adorable and keep sneaking peeks in at them. It is so fun to hear their little mini voices when I go in the garage.
Madchicken, how are things with the little one and new mama?
My son is so sad I have even spoken the words "I think Snow Balls needs a new house."
