I'll be upgrading from a half acre lot to an acre lot next month, so that may help

And once I'm down in Delta, I'll have 24 acres for my girls to run around on. Hmmm, that sure seems like a lot of space for my little flock of chickens. Maybe I should get something else to keep them company? Ducks, perhaps. Or geese. Or emus. Or guineas. Or.............

swans, ostriches, Rheas fun fun fun. Red, goats for sure. Has anyone done anything with the Bresse chickens from france. They have some chicks available here in Mesa. i am tempted because I have not seen them in Utah, They also have some cream legbars. They would probably be unrelated to those in Utah. Still not feeling great but had a pedicure today and bought another tomato plant for my patio. Hubby is a bit cross as he does not relish bring home all my plants the end of March. Everyone is getting ready for the bad weather coming. On Friday Gasp the high is suppose to be 60 lows in the high 30s oh no. Saturday its suppose to rain Gasp. Such a big to do about a bit of rain. See yall soon/ Red how are the Seramas?

Does anyone have any showgirl Hens or Roosters they are selling??. I am really interested, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Nope nope nope not sharing mine. Haha :D I have gone through sooooo many roosters to get my hens! You are one of Cynthia's friends right? I would check with her or Brandi, they seem to know people down around there that have them! I remember Brandi was getting hatching eggs from somebody her direction.

I would love to hatch another batch of those. But the eggs are so expensive!

It was so funny, they had the signs, and no one knew which breeds the chicks were so I helped them out. They had just unloaded the chicks and turned on the lamps, not even filled the feeders yet. They were cheeping like mad, and I just could not resist, they were so new and cute. And fluffy. They said I was the first chick customer of 2014. How cool is that? I was pretty excited about that, it made my day!

Ha, I want to guess before I catch up to the end of the posts...and...everyone can guess what I came home with!

I guess that you bought some of those real fluffy faced EE's! Two at least of those. Barred Rock? RIR? 4 total..no wait..you bought more than two EE's! :D

Now guess what I bought.

Cynthia hatched some lavendar ameraucanas two springs ago, they were the CUTEST babies. I got two and they were called Potsie and Fonzie, Fonzie ended up at Birdguys. Sphinx had some too, she transported them back from Cynthia's to share

One of the cutest hatches ever IMO.
The folks I bought the eggs from also used a photo or two for advertising. All the way from GA. Bargain..is who I got the eggs from. They were a pretty color.

Cynthia I think you came home with 6 light buff colored Sex Links, I don't think you needed any puffy checks, because aren't you hatching some?

You all are making me wish I would have brought home a SLW the other day. I do have to go get dog food. But I will not, go to the feed store, I will not go to the feed Store. HeHe. I need to find some hatching eggs for Easter.

Hey Christina, I know you have Lavenders, do you sell hatching eggs if I want to try to hatch any? Or you keeping them all to hatch out for your hatchery, just thought I would ask. I want to set for Easter. Hopefully I have a good hatch again. :D
