Hey everyone! This morning I was silkie hunting

at the Draper IFA. Surprisingly they had quite a few! And they were big! The lady I talked to said that their silkies aren't selling as well this year as other years in the past. (Wow!!!) She had no idea how old they were, mixed ages, but guessed that some were over a month old or more. They were in with other teeny tiny bantams and the little holes in the feeders were set to the perfect size for teenies. The silkies kept getting their heads stuck and then the others would peck them so their backs and wings are pretty bare. Our city only allows 8 hens so I could only take 3.
(darn it!) Anyway...to make a long story even longer

...now that I have them home and set up in their very own brooder away from my teeny tinies, I have no idea how old these babies are. Any silkie experts out there have any ideas?

#3 in my lap so you can get an idea of size next to my hand. (I have small hands

)
Also, what can I do to help them get their feathers back? I have vitamins and electrolytes in their water and gave them some scrambled eggs...anything else?
Thanks guys!!!
