Utah!

Good Grief..I have a pip. I think..it is a weird pip. It is indented! And it has cracks up one side and the other. Here are a couple of photos. I haven't seen a chick do this.

No, I did not drop it. :/ I would have been very upset with myself.I don't remember being upset with myself..lol. Anyway, I candled them all today! Now I'm worried because I had them out. Evidently it didn't bother this one. And, there is another one rocking..so, maybe things are happening. I hope these babies make it for this family. You would think that this is my very first hatch of anything, but I'm worried I won't have any make it for them. And, I haven't done duck eggs for years. I had a pretty good hatch though when I gave it a try.

if your looking for a nice roo I have Hercules. He is a Frizzled Americana Beautiful curley roo that has very high fertility

Is he hawk savy? and do you think he'll beat the crap out of my fiesty game roo's (and one king silkie)? They are small but mighty. HEY, an idea... I could trade you in weight! Maybe 4/5 little dudes for your one big dude?

My biggest concern is loosing my hens to the hawks. My second is a fullsize roo will be much more successful than the minions and I'll be buying all the girls dresses... OK, how about a photo? I take it the adoption thing didn't work out?

Side note: We used to live in the middle of nowhere and now all the billionaires are building very close. I'd love to start a roo rescue so that when their **** construction quits (and its months long for these monster butt ugly homes) and when they move in they hear the lovely sound of a bazillion alarm clarks. hee hee

I'm working a ton so I might not reply right away, doesn't mean I won't consider it. I feel so bad that the little barred rock had to go to IFA.

I'm sorry, this morning was a tuff one, the neighbors were not happy with me at 5am. I have ducks in my front yard and I guess The rooster put him over the edge. He was getting loud and pretty aggressive with my girls.

I feel really bad I didn't respond in time. I haven't had time to get on the computer and when I do I'm pages of posts behind. I do hope he found a good home, he certainly deserves it.

I'm confused, was it the neighbor or the roo that was aggressive? and when you say girls, hens or daughters? If a human was yelling at your kids that was completely uncalled for. The issue should hv been with you and he's a dork for going after kids. If it's the roo being a roo, you had to do what you had to do, don't want to lose hens over it. I'm so sorry I couldn't help.

Four so far. Two more eggs pipping. And what a rainbow of colors! A solid black, yellow, light brown and silvery chick. These pics don't do them justice, they are REALLY tiny though they don't seem so in the pics.

Oh my goodness! They are teeny and so cute! I can't believe how beansie those eggs are!

Amanda, how are those two little chicks doing? Is there a chance they are going to be frizzled?

Karen is your eggs fertile?

They are so cute! One looks like it maybe might frizzle. The other is looking pretty smooth. The camera on my phone is on the fritz. As soon as I can find my actual camera I'll post pics. :). Thanks again!
