Utah!

Iluv--Here is a pic of both of them.

The Silkies' toes are perfect, she is from SQ birds, so should be nice. (It just stepped in poop though! I still have them on paper towels to keep the dust down in the garage.)

The color looks to be a true partridge, or maybe a blue partridge..the color is more black on the wings than the pic looks

Pm me if you are interested

Thanks for the pics! This lil one looks to be the color i'd like but im looking for one a little bit older, and I have a soft spot for the ones with vaults or more fluffing on head. Yours is definitely cute though, thanks :)

As dues paying member of the Utah thread I would be glad to ferry birds down to the Plain City area for you if needed. We will have to work out the details tomorrow or Saturday. I am painting the new coop this weekend and, well you know how that goes.

Pfrosty our church is at nine in the morning so it will perhaps need be later in the day? Or what ever works for you. I like all my chickens, but I could part with one I suppose. I have RIR and Barred Rocks I think a few white rocks, and a few others. What breed is of interest to you. They are all IFA birds and about three months old or a little more. I got them just prior to Easter.

I knew this Utah thread would be a winner for me,

Best to all,

RJ

Edit: I see you are in Springville, I may be going as far south as Harriman/Bluffdale, my son lives down there and I might stop by while Pfrosty is at church. Sorry, I don't know everyones locations as of yet. I'll get it.

Happy 4th to everyone. Hope you have a great day!

Remembering the foundation of our land, our founding fathers, and of course God. My belief. :)

Also thinking of our troops and their families..thank you for all you do!

I think I'm going to take my white Silkie out of the pen with the frizzle and three chicks. The frizzle seems to be the real mom and the silkie just goes along for the ride. She has also started laying again and it would be a waste not to get more fertilized eggs from her. The last four eggs of hers that hatched i got 3 blues and 1 partridge, big crest and full beards. Would anyone be interested in some of her eggs? I also have a splash hen that i am collecting eggs from. She has a OK crest and a small beard but my rooster is full bearded and big crest so you never know how the chicks will turn out. I have three more eggs to collect for me then i could start collecting for someone else.

yes, I am in Springville only reason I said Plain City, is that I have to go up there anyways, but I can likely meet ya somewhere around Bluffdale (could meet around the Ikea or the Cabela's perhaps?)

(sorry, I edited because I read it wrong, thinking you were coming all the way to springville lol!)

I sent you a pm with my phone number :)

Ilms, I love your partridge girl! And her head floof is awesome :)

I had a brief scare today. I got home from work and DH showed me a chick one of our cats had gotten and killed. He thought it was one of mine, but I did a quick count and everyone is okay. I think it might have been a quail :( I know we have a pair that hangs around here. Those poor quail sure seem to lose a lot of babies, no matter what city they're in.
