Utah!

He is so cute! Where did you get the Orloffs?

The little mix is adorable too, love the headdress :D

Brian you should go to chickenstock then! I don't think very many UT peeps are going. Grey Bird Farms said she might...then Upick and myself...that is all I know of. IT is at the warehouse at CAL Ranch this year and it is expected to be a pretty big affair they have been advertising. I have to make a quick trip, we have a family party that night so I can only go the first couple hours.

I got her from the IFA in Ogden. Russian Orloffs are the breed that got my daughter started on wanting chickens. They did a hatching project a few years ago in her class in Germany and they all had to do a report on a breed. Her's was the Russian Orloff and she was determined to get one some day. We got lucky that they got a few in and we happened to stop by at the right time. :)

I would love to go!  I'm trying to rearrange some things so that I can.  I can't believe how quickly I have become so totally chicken obsessed! :)

Haha! Same here! :) Hey, if you go, can I get the incubator from you then? We were down at Lagoon this weekend but I couldn't figure out a way to hide it from my daughter. She will be distracted at Chickenstock, I'm sure. ;)

Super Lucky! I have not had the good fortune to come across any in the stores for sure, pretty scarce around these parts. Very cute.

Abko I hope you can work it out to go! If you do I can give you the eggs also if you still want them.

I am wondering if anyone knows the rules in Herriman for roosters? I will eventually go to the city to ask but am busy with finals week at the moment. I am in the zoning allowance for "chickens for family food production" but could not find anything about rooster restictions at the city site.

If you are in the family food production zone then you are good to go with roosters and up to 50 chickens I believe.
