Silly girls (and boy). I read horror stories about chicks not getting that they need to go in their coop at night for a month plus. My 6 got it on the 3rd night. Yippee! I thought for sure it was going to take forever. Here they are though, all 6 squashed into 1 nesting box. They aren't exactly small. This group is about 10-11 weeks now.

I spread a yard of sand in the run tonight to eliminate the mud. They loved that. Of course they have 100 square feet of sand and they chose to make their wallow right under the waterer.

Eh, I started to write about how Magna and West Valley aren't so bad, but the paragraph kept getting longer and turned into three paragraphs about being careful with this and that. I have decided that I love the old West Valley I grew up in, but I'm happy to be out of it now. Sorry.
