This little guy started to sound off yesterday. I have 3 Serama chicks this one is obviously a boy, then there's one that's obviously a girl. And of course I have one that has a larger (but not as big as the little crower's) comb (and it's not as red either), but way bigger than the girl. Anyway it's cute isn't it?

That was so cute! If all roosters sounded like that, I think less people would be against them. So cute!!!!

I need some help. Today is my lockdown but I just thought about it and I can't remember if I started day 1 right after I out the eggs in the incubator or 24 hours after. Should I lock them down tonight or do you think I should wait and do it tomorrow?

I've been looking for my broody hens nest for a week or so. Today I saw her jump out of my window well and when I checked she was sitting on 42 eggs, She has never been broody before and is an Americana. I pulled all the eggs out of her nest and turned on the hose put some water in the window well. Poor hen she jumped in the window well hit the puddle squawlked and jumped out again. I put a little more water in. After a few times getting in the mud she gave up and is now part of the flock again. So that's a proven way to break a broody

haha that's awesome. Your chickens are always laying in weird places good to know an easy way to break a broody if I ever decide to do so.
