thanks. my dad loved meeting you. and he loved that your son served in the same area he did, of course back then it was like 3 states he had to cover lol.

but yeah he was a great man. always supported me with my chickens. he was there if i just could not put down one of the girls if it came to that.

anyway i just hope all of you get the screening for cancer and such that you are supposed to. would hate to lose any of you.

Glad for the reminder. I got a reminder to go get my mamo a couple of weeks ago! Man, I best call and get that apt. I had a grandmother die of breast cancer. It really is wise to keep up on things. My DH just had some cancer taken off of his face. It came back that they didn't get it all..so, now waiting on results for this other one done..it's been three weeks..come on already. :/

my dad battled cancer three times. skin cancer once and colon/stomach cancer twice. battled two of those battles in a little over a years time. i have such a strong history of cancer in my family. its not fun. i just want all of you to be safe. cant be puting these things off. i guess i dont need to give you all these reminders, i am sure it can be annoying. i just care about you all i guess

If it's annoying, so what. Maybe then we'll remember to get the screening. I don't find it annoying at all. I've had 2 family members with stage 3 cancer diagnosis' in the last 2 years, and in both, the Dr said it was miraculous it was caught and the regular inspection/screening saved their life.
